Hello Dreamwidth!
2/6/22 00:42I'm Cheepo, and I'll be posting some writings here. I've realized lately that I want a place to let some thoughts out through my writing, and having a blog like this motivates me to write a little more.
I thought about going back to Tumblr (left there few years ago), but the format of this site interested me much more! It has a nostalgic feel to it, and it honestly seems more oriented to writing and reading the writings of others rather than scrolling through an endless feed of short content.
What do I plan to write here? Hopefully some fun short stories, but I also want to do a little bit of life journal type stuff too. I've gotten into comic books recently, and they've inspired me to try my hand at crafting my own stories again. I used to write a lot in high school (embarrassing Sonic the Hedgehog fanfics and poetry, mostly), but I fell out of it when I got into college. My major (computer science) unfortunately didn't call for much creative writing.
However, now that I'm out of college and working a full time job, I'm realizing how much I need writing more than ever. I just need an outlet to get feelings and thoughts out, whether that's through fiction or more direct journals.
It honestly feels good even just to write this little bit! If you somehow happen to read this, please look forward to seeing more here. Oh, and feel free to drop a comment or send me a message if you would like to introduce me to your journal or community! I definitely want to use this site as a reader just as much as a writer, but it's going to take me a bit to discover who to follow.
